Queer Sphere is a committee under the Diversity & Equity Office that promotes the awareness, acceptance and social advocacy for Queer members on campus
Queer Sphere is a support system that promotes awareness, acceptance and social advocacy for the LGBTQ2+ members and allies here on campus to meet and socialize with their peers
Queer Sphere programs are designed to engage the Laurier community in thoughtful discussions, developmental activities, and special initiatives with the hopes of educating one another as well as formulating to bond to support our cause.
Services & Activities
- Create events for the community including discussion groups, workshops, movie & games nights, guest speakers etc.
- Provide a safe space for LGBT2Q+ students on campus to connect and socialize.
- Annual Queer Orientation activities
- Annual Trans 101 workshop
